We bought one hundred.
It wasn’t a whim — it was simple arithmetic (and a hint of faith). Ten cost £174. A hundred cost £374.
At that point, the question wasn’t “Can we afford it?” but “Can we afford to stop?”
At our current rhythm — a new title every month in two formats, plus reprints, hardbacks, teaching editions, and illustrated versions — those hundred ISBNs will last about two years. After that, we’ll need another block.
